Jack Alzheimer è un old man band spagnolo; solo questo basterebbe ad attrarre la mia attenzione. Se aggiungiamo, che con  questa infame malattia ci sono stato a braccetto per anni, l'esordio in 7' di questo sconosciuto uomo orchestra non può che andare a finire nella mia personale collezione di Invasione Monobanda.
Il vinile in questione è frutto di una campagna di crowdfunding, di cui il sottoscritto non è mai stato un fan sfegatato; ma da buon mono-tematico ho aspettato pazientemente l'esordio vinilico del vecchio Jack.
Nel lato A troviamo la title-track e è subito un'esplosione punk; l'uomo orchestra senza memoria sa che è meglio prendere tutto e subito prima che sia troppo tardi. Qui voce, chitarra e batteria sono cosí incalzanti da toglierti il fiato oltre alla memoria.
L'altro lato è tutto per Saturday Night, e il sesto giorno della settimana è uguale da qualsiasi latitudine; inno al divertimento e poca voglia di stare li a pensare al giorno dopo.
Jack Alzheimer è una realtà nuova e interessante... credo che sentiremo ancora parlare di lui sempre che non si scordi la strada per tornare a casa. Dalle mie parti sarà comunque benvenuto.

Jack Alzheimer is an old one-man band from Spain; this is enough to catch my attention. Let's add that I have lived with this infamous disease for years, so, the debut 7'' release of this unknown one-man orchestra will for sure make part of my personal collection of Invasione Monobanda.
This disc comes out thanks to crowfunding, something whose, actually, I've never been a big fan; yet, you know, being a fan of one-man bands, I patiently waited for old Jack's debut, and here it is.
On A-side we find the title track, a sudden punk explosion; the orchestra-man with no memory knows there's nothing better than taking everything and right now, before it's too late. Here, vocals, guitars and drums play restless, you lose your breath besides your mind.
The B-side is all for Saturday Night, and the sixth day of the week is the same thing for each latitude; hymn to entertainment, and no will to think about tomorrow.
Jack Alzheimer is something new and that interesting.. I think we are going to hear more and more from him, unless he definitely loses his way home. However, my door is always open for him.
