Altra uscita francese di livello questa della Six Tonnes De Chair. Aldilà delle Alpi si stanno consolidando un'infinità di gruppi, etichette e festival che fanno della scena francese una delle più valide realtà europee per quanto concerne il garage e i suoi derivati. A darmene conferma Alienor; ultima fatica a 45 giri dei Los Dos Hermanos che arriva dopo uno split, una musicassetta e un album vinilico. Il gruppo in questione è formato da chitarra e batteria che da Bordeaux fanno esplodere il mio giradischi.
Il lato A è la title track: questo è un pezzo dalla potenza alienante. La chitarra ti frigge il cervello come neanche la signora Ratched con l'eroe McMurphy. La batteria ad ogni colpo ti stritola in una camicia di forza legata sempre più stretta. La demoniaca alternanza delle due voci, una maschile e una femminile, ti confonde al punto da farti stendere direttamente sul lettino dello psicanalista; a volte solo con certa musica si può evadere da determinate angosce.
Il lato B è un omaggio a Ty Segall; il duo francese in Paye Ty Chatte infatti taglia e cuce due pezzi del musicista statunitense alla velocità della luce come il miglior sarto di corte. Nello specifico si tratta di Standing At the Station e Oh Mary che messe insieme dai Los Dos Hermanos sono ancora più schizofreniche.
Prima di scendere a compromessi con il Tavor consiglio di farvi prescrivere una delle 150 copie di questo sette pollici.

Another high-level French release, this time for Six Tonnes De Chair. Beyond the Alps a multitude of bands, labels and festivals are feeding the core of a French scene which is going to be one of the most valuable in Europe, for garage music and its derivatives. One more confirmation is Alienor; latest fatigue 45rpm of Los Dos Hermanos that comes after a split EP, one music cassette and a vinyl record. The band consists of guitar and drums, and from Bordeaux, they make blowing up my turntable .
The A-side is the title track: a piece of alienating load. The guitar will fry your brain, like not even nurse Ratched might do with our heroe McMurphy.
The drums at each beat crushes you in a straitjacket, tight and tighter.
The demonic alternation of the two voices, male and female, confuses you to the point you only want to lie down straight on the psychoanalyst's couch; sometimes, only certain music can set you free from certain anxieties.
The B side is a tribute to Ty Segall; the French duo in Paye Ty Chatte cuts and sews two pieces of the American musician at the speed of light as the king's best tailor. Specifically, it is Standing At the Station and Oh Mary, which put together by Los Dos Hermanos are even more schizophrenic.
Before coming to terms with Tavor, let me recommend you a prescription of one of the 150 copies of this 7''.
