Mrs Lunch is going to tour Europe this Autumn, with a very special cast in her band, which sees Weasel Walter (Flying Luttenbachers) - Bob Bert (Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore, Chrome Cranks.. all cool stuff!) - Algis Kizys (Swans), to remark the best of her "musical output from '77 to the present".
You know, each time I feel tired, dead tired and bored, my mind plays this trick on me, and I start singing to myself two particular lyrics, 'so tired. Tired of listening to gossip. Gossip and complaints..", and, not less, Alice Cooper 'Bodiessss need their rest, we all need our rest.. Sleep an easy sleep.. Rest [..] Rest. But come back in the morning": Black Juju, from Love it to Death.
In 1991, Lydia Lunch and Rowland S. Howard (r.i.p.) recorded a cover of Black Juju, a nice one indeed, featured on Shotgun Wedding LP.
So, if you need rest, ..or Satan, this is your song.
