An updraft of psychedelia (Intro/SP), hypnagogic images (DDB and its diagonal octaves), a swirl of hallucinations in an altered state of drowsiness. A constant state of tension, written by masterful percussions (N5) - broken, spectacular, precise and obsessive - framed by a guitar into a two amplifiers (I guess), which makes use of mesmeric delay pedals and loop stations, a synergy of sound distortion and wonder (N6), constantly scouting the amplitude of the audio spectrum. The bass is your cardiac rhythm: hammering, in uproar even when on the way of release. The listening with the headphones of this record - just over 40 minutes - with closed eyes, is undoubtedly the key to achieving a higher state of consciousness, alienation induced to look at your-self from within. Forget the chorus-verse-chorus form, and the mere style of free jazz improvisation: The Psychic Paramount balance the amazement of sound - here often rancid, vitriol - with a mesmeric charge, highly psychic, before that psychedelic. The only time ill-radio friendly, and 70s, is the final track N5 Coda: exquisitely radiant, dazzling, - it sounds like Seefeel burned by a fragment of explosive kraut rock, extracted from (a) math rock.
