A man who used to have everything. An house, a family, a life, a soul. And he lost it all. He made a choice, but he chose wrong. And trying to make up for his faults, he condemned himself. Now he wanders alone, along a dark road that goes nowhere. Wherever he goes. There will be blood” in poche righe si svela tutta l'essenza disincantata, grezza, ipnotica delle dieci tracce qui racchiuse; Wherever you go.

When a band gets in touch with you asking for your own opinion - with no obligation - on their recordings for an album that has yet to take form, at least at the level of packing, it is always a pleasure, it means you're doing something good.
In the case of There Will Be Blood, it's pure pleasure, since the very first moment you open the CD sleeve. I understand immediately that you are dealing with a trio that has style "this is the story of a man. A man who used to have everything. An house, a family, a life, a soul. And he lost it all. He made a choice, but he chose wrong. And trying to make up for his faults, he condemned himself. Now he wanders alone, along a dark road that goes nowhere. Wherever he goes. There will be blood" unfolds in a few lines the essence disenchanted, raw, hypnotic of the ten tracks here enclosed; Wherever you go.
There Will Be Blood are from the province of Lombardy, Italy, and as in the case of the Kaams, a few notes are enough to understand that their roots come from far, like that dry taste that some liquor leave on the palate, as well as those empty rooms ensured only to its members. But this is a hot issue like the sound that comes from the Mississippi Delta, but as a distorted vision of a ruling class that knows how to deftly deflect the public from knowing who is doing their own interests.
There Will Be Blood is a trio that features a drum that never miss to release its anger on cymbals, if not in some twisted ballads such as The Story of a Woman who Kisses only Once and Black Rain. A slide guitar to remind us just like the blues and its influences are scars that will scratch you from the inside ... not so easily digested and Circus of Truth seems that a lot of blood will be poured out before some wounds heal. Finally there is another dirty guitar and distorts everything ... often in a psychedelic key that reminds me a lot of  the Magic Potion of the open minds. I must say this sound comes out valid, original, surprising, passionated, just isten to Stomp or Fall (only the deaf would not move the ass here), Death Letter (remember to make a will - that's for the faint of heart), The Faith (in Bob Log III we trust) River Flowing (Led Zeppelin play hide and seek in a primal and unhealthy riff).
There Will Be Blood, with Wherever you go, kicked me hard, I felt torn... a mature disc, able to break your ears... hoping not to bleed to death ... if so, at least for once in our country, there would be blood for a good cause.
