Oh jeez, I have always loved a lot Swirlies, - been instant love, actually. Pure sedated frenzy, sick guitar bending, lo-fi noise pop dissonance, - that's my cup of tea.
The only original records of theirs I've got are What to Do About Them, Blonder Tongue Audio Baton, They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days in the Glittering World of the Salons, - so, they made my day when some years ago I found they were sharing most of their discography for free on internet.
And now, I've just read that next July they back on stage, for four gigs, whose one in Baltimore with Thrushes. Hopefully to see something on youtube next month.
