It's like Three Second Kiss had kept Their Music print frozen since Their early debut in 1996, when most of indie-addicts were strucked by Shellac (and actually there's Steve Albini behind the console, and Bob Weston into mastering) and whateverelse from Skin Graft rec catalogue, - then nothing has really changed (am i wrong?) in the long distance, - notwithstanding Their new drummer is fresh meat, Sacha Tilotta [formerly of Theramin and Agostino Tilotta's son, guitarist of Uzeda]. So, being angular is one more time the reason of being here, - math rock is the rule, and if They still feel comfortable with that, what's the matter then? - BTW, my grey matter is not able to distinguish the singular soul of each track, yet, for sure, the whole album sounds mature and sharp in its cold porno, along a maze of elaborate corridors where guitars are dissonant, sinister and nervous (Deviationism), loaded by fractured percussions (amazing work, nothing to say) and well glued by a restless bass line (You Are the Music) and by the half-narrative vocals style of Sergio Carlini. - For fans of June of '44 & Co..
