UK, London based, theatrical swing jazz from a side, - an orchestra of six elements, - an ensemble meant to be booming and whimsically pop thanks to the eclectic singer Gabby Young, - The one that got away, actually, - while Ask You a Question is not that far from being a new version of that popular Katyusha, - far eastern partisan taste.
A balance of The Dresden Dolls, The Cesarians and a beer festival and a quiet hangover after the above beer fest, as well, - this promo looks like being just a sip of a wider musical range that should touch folk rock too, so I'd say these two tracks are not enough to properly identify Her future directions, - just let's enjoy this invitation card. Ps. Nice haircut and colour.

Gran Bretagna, di base a Londra, da una parte, del teatrale jazz / swing, - un'orchestra di sei elementi, - un ensamble che cerca il boom e il pop più capriccioso grazie all'eclettica cantante Gabby Young, - The one that got away, - dall'altra invece, Ask You a Question non è lontana da essere un'ennesima rilettura della cosacca Katyusha (qui in Italí più popolare come Casatchok cantata da Dori Ghezzi nel 1968), dal gusto partigiano del lontano est.
Un equilibrio di Dresden Dolls, The Cesarians e una festa della birra, nonchè la necessità di quiete durante il dopo sbornia del festival di cui sopra, - insomma, questo promo è giusto un assaggio di quello che dovrebbe essere un ventaglio musicale più ampio che dovrebbe arrivare sino al folk rock, e che due sole canzoni non esattamente possono definire nella vastità, quindi godiamoci il biglietto da visita, e complimenti per il taglio e colore dei capelli.
