This three piece from Turin, northern Italy, looks like in search of the right coordinates for an alternative pop-rock romanticism.
I think these recordings are missing the needed adhesive sound that would give the right spleen to their ballads, but, notwistanding that, there's anyway a background idea of what their next production might successfully turn in, putting aside all the naivety of Nothing never lasts forever.
Like, Dark & Cold, as well as Like worn graffiti, these have got some of those bright hopes: good brit-pop refrains, an attitude for a delicate imaginery built on the classic triangle guitar/bass/drums, plus soft male vocal melodies and an appreciable enrichment of the sound spectrum with piano, hammond, mellotron. So, let's see what's next.

Queste registrazioni credo manchino ancora del necessario collante che renderebbe il giusto spleen alle loro ballate, ma nonostante ciò, c'è cmq l'idea generale di fondo che ti porta a pensare a come potrebbero essere le loro prossime produzioni con un pò di fortuna in più, lasciando da parte i modelli ingenui di Nothing never lasts forever.
Ad esempio Dark & Cold, e Like worn graffiti, - queste hanno le giuste luminose premesse di cui scrivevo: discreti ritornelli stile brit-pop, una buona attitudine per del delicato immaginario costruito sul classico triangolo chitarra/basso/batteria, più la voce melodiosa di lui, - nonchè con degli apprezzabili arricchimenti dello spettro sonoro con piano, hammond, mellotron.
Aspettiamo di vedere che succede poi.
