Fuh are from Alba, Piemonte, northern Italy, right this month the four piece band comes out with a brilliant record released by two local indies, Escape
From Today and Smartz rec, drawing a line connecting the frenzied guitars of Unwound, Pretty Girls Make Graves (Grandine, Distance) and a couple of respectable instrumental cinematic digressions à la Motorpsycho, At the Drive in (Four things).
Frenetically hardcore-influenced, acrobatic percussions (Miniver) able to solidify their achievied maturity in ten years of activity (am i right?), plus, They are also capable of some alternative noise rock-friendly writing (the harmonic final swell of Gordon rest in peace): Fuh kick hard, sound sharp, - a good record from top to bottom, to play out loud through your headphones, the sound production is bright and provides the right fuel and adrenaline for their blasting fires.
Last track H7-25, introduced by the bucolic electric twitters of the previous Canalese landscapes, with a false stop in the middle, is shaped to be the perfect track to close a live show with strobo lights and kids stage diving: hard to see in Italy.. but who knows.. soon or later...

I Fuh sono di Alba, Piemunt, e giusto questo mese il quartetto se ne esce con un disco brillante a quattro mani coprodotto da Escape From Today e Smartz rec, - a tracciare una linea che unisce le frenetiche chitarre di Unwound, Pretty Girls Make Graves (Grandine, Distance) e un paio di rispettabili digressioni cinematiche strumentali à la Motorpsycho, At the Drive in (Four things).
Caoticamente influenzati dall'hardcore, percussioni acrobatiche (Miniver) capaci di solidificare la maturità acquisita in 10 anni (se non erro) di attività, - in più sono anche capaci di fare capoccella su del più avvicinabile alternative noise rock (il finale armonico in cresendo di Gordon rest in peace): insomma, i Fuh picchiano duro, suonano taglienti, - un bel disco dall'inizio alla fine, da suonare a volume alto in cuffia, - la produzione dei suoni è illuminata e procura la giusta benzina e adrenalina per i fuochi che non mancano di accendersi ed esplodere.
L'ultima traccia H7-25, introdotta da bucolici cinguettii elettrici nel precedente interludio Canalese landscapes, con un falso stop nel mezzo, è forgiata per essere la traccia perfetta per chiudere un concerto, - con l'arrivo nel finale di luci strobo e il pubblico che fa stage diving: fantascienza in Italia.. ma prima o poi..
