Reluct.com used to be one of my favorite daily internet readings until it closed years ago. Now up again, it's one more an excellent eye over design, architecture, fashion and photos, - where the above piece, by bulgarian sculptor Georgi Djongarski, is a particular toothpicks dispenser in porcelain and gold.
About the piece: "it is made of porcelain which consists of gold decoration and gold arrows. the golden blood where you put insert the appetizers is represented by the roses - reminiscent to the five wounds of jesus, the dead doves of the early ended life and the thorns related with the crown of thorns. after using the toothpicks (arrows) you can stick them into the saint's body."
