But this world isn't that perfect. Barely, it is.
So, imagine that the math sum of Deerhunter's members is Deerhunter, and ok, - but that if You take one or two of Them (before Bradford Cox with Atlas Sound, now Pundt), singularly, You would be not that sure about the commutative property of the single units, such Their solo releases are brilliant and complete, and that powerful.
The whole The Floodlight Collective is a 10 dives into a sound/reverb ocean, - where the Jesus and Mary Chain and Yo La Tengo are to the beach, watching bikini girls surfing a wave of noise playing tambourine, - enchanted by satured hallucinatory sounds (the last 40 seconds of A Threaded Needle), where vocals are sea foams, and the bigger waves coming are like a slowmotion (The Floodlight Collective), then, You have guitars, and guitars, and again, doubled drums (Different Mirrors - and it's the above mentioned Cox to play them), synth, - a carnival of multilayered pedal effects and panning melodies.
An album full of elegical, hypnagogic sweet noise music, - the first track Red Oak Way starts with a chatartic percussive thin intro, - in about 40 seconds it'll throw You into a symphonic psychedelic and lomographic haze.

Quindi con queste garanzie Vi dovreste già trovare sul mailorder della kranky, e pace cosí.
Ma questo non è un mondo cosí perfetto. Anzi, proprio per niente.
Quindi, immaginate che la somma matematica dei membri di Deerhunter come risultato faccia i Deerhunter, - ok - ma se prendete uno o due di Loro (prima Bradford Cox con Atlas Sound, ora Pundt), singolarmente, - il tutto non sembrerebbe ritornare applicando la proprietà commutativa delle singole unità, - tanto i Loro dischi sono brillanti e completi, e sí potenti.
L'intero The Floodlight Collective è un 10 tuffi in un oceano di suoni e riverberi, - dove Jesus and Mary Chain e Yo La Tengo sono in spiaggia, a guardare estasiati delle ragazze in bikini che fanno surf su un mare di noise, tenendo il tempo con dei tambourine, - tutti insieme incantati da suoni saturi e allucinatori (gli ultimi 40 secondi di A Threaded Needle), dove le voci sono come la spuma di quelle onde, e i cavalloni più alti si muovono al rallentatore (The Floodlight Collective), - e cosí arrivano chitarre su chitarre, e altre ancora, batterie doppie (Different Mirrors - dove c'è il sopracitato Cox a suonarle), synth, - un carnevale di pedali/effetto multistrato e melodie che fanno panning da un canale all'altro.
