We love vinyls here! And 7 inches too. And You know what? Smartz rec releases a 7" vynil, for two amazing italian indie bands, from Ivrea and Fano, that is, Drink to Me and Edible Woman, two sips of their forthcoming new works: 100 copies on limited white vinyl and 400 in black.
On one side, Drink to Me will tell You They read the bible once and even twice, - They left their guitars at home, and obsessively play synths along with percussions beating like an excited heart.
Melancholic and explosive nearly tecno ending, a lovesong before the next nuclear war: The End of History (America).
Anyway, The (above mentioned) Beat Goes On with Edible Woman, - a brainwashing bass line that Suicide would love to hear, - later doubled by another fuzzy/overdriven bass solo and precise drumming, it really sounds like a ticking time-bomb, as i read on the press release notes.
But don't worry, this bomb will not blow you away, not this time, - it's only prepared to mount a tangible tension for your nerves to be later calmed down, - Edible Woman keep a low profile, and we must wait for their new album to come for more genuine cathartic violence.

La Smartz rec se ne esce con un 7'' vinile, dove figurano due eccellenti band indie nostrane, rispettivamente da Ivrea e Fano, ovvero, Drink to Me e Edible Woman, due assaggi dai Loro prossimi lavori: 100 copie in edizione limitata bianca, e 400 in nero.
Su un lato, i Drink to Me Vi racconteranno che hanno letto la Bibbia una volta e anche due, - si sono dimenticati le chitarre a casa, mentre le percussioni e i synth suonano ossessivi, battenti come un cuore eccitato. Malinconici ed esplosivi, pressappoco tecno nel finale, una lovesong prima della prossima guerra nucleare: The End of History (America).
In ogni modo, il sopra citato Beat Goes On con gli Edible Woman: una linea di basso lava il cervello come piacerebbe anche ai Suicide, - linea doppiata in seguito da un altro assolo di basso e drumming preciso. Tutto suona davvero come un tic tac di una bomba ad orologeria, come dicono le note dell'etichetta.
Ma non preoccupatevi, il congegno non Vi esploderà contro, non questa volta, è solo preparata per montare una tensione tangibile dei nervi che verrà infine sedata, - gli Edible Woman tengono un profilo basso, e dobbiamo aspettare per il nuovo album per della genuina catarsi violenta.
