There's really not anything satanist here, i mean, - nothing more satanist than the metal band like coverart, or than a hidden message in a Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, - like Frogwomen and Alexander De Large, - from southern italy, improvise at a certain point of these 66 minutes and 6 seconds song/album.
For sure, i was there to sell my soul to Satan when i realized i was going to review a such so long jam, with no pause between each movement. But i did it, because.. Satan told me. Just kidding, - there are several parenthesis in these recording deserving exposure.
It's about two versatile musicians, overskilled on several instruments and music genres, - swimming together in a pool of new-wave, free-jazz, blues, progressive, can can, piano solos, heavy psychedelic rock.
It's like drinking a Moretti beer 66cl (66cl, - did you get that?), calling a friend, talking about Frank Zappa and play music all night long together, - then, the following day You discover the mic was on and recording. It's free-form, free-performance, - not memorable, but big at the same time. Sometimes irreverent, sometimes melancholic, - whorty a listen.

Non c'è veramente nulla di satanista qui, o meglio, - niente di più satanico della copertina stile metal band, o dei messaggi nascosti in una Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, - come Frogwomen & Alexander De Large, da Bari e Taranto, improvvisano a cantare ad un certo punto di questi 66 minuti e 6 secondi che fanno un'unica canzone/album. Per certo, ero lí lí per venderla io l'anima a Satana quando ho scoperto che avrei dovuto recensire una infinta jam session senza pause tra un movimento e l'altro. Ma l'ho fatto comunque, perchè.. me l'ha detto Satana.. No, sciocchezze a parte, ci sono diverse parentesi in queste registrazioni che meritano eco.
E' una cosa tra due musicisti davvero versatili, polistrumentisti e poli-musicali, - a nuotare insieme in una piscina di new-wave, free-jazz, blues, progressive, can can, piano solos, heavy psychedelic rock.
E' come bersi una Moretti da 66cl (66cl, - sono subliminale, vero?), chiamare un amico, ed invitarlo per parlare di Frank Zappa e finirci a suonare tutta la notte, per poi scoprire il giorno dopo di aver lasciato acceso un paio di microfoni e si era registrato tutto. Una performance dalla forma libera, gratuita, - non memorabile magari, ma di sicuro con qualcosa di grande allo stesso tempo. A volte irriverenti, a volte malconci/malinconici, - meritano un ascolto.
