In case You didn't know, Gainsbourg Revisited Remixed, umpteenth episode of tribute to Serge Gainsbourg, in particular, features two interesting tracks at mon avis: that is, newest sign of life from Portishead, remixing Requiem For Anna, and Cat Power & Karen Elson with I Love You (Me Either), that is the over-famous Je t'aime, moi non plus.
I'm reading these two are the best things from the album, not exactly
catchy as regards the rest, even if i am somewhat curious to hear The Rakes' one. You decide. More, even Portishead's one is not exactly brilliant: it's clean, sounds good, - although it's not the special dose all Their fans are waiting for since ages, i mean, Beth Gibbons voice is like suffocated.. - Through Elbo You can find the above mentioned songs available.E restando in ambito 'vive la france', i found this mp3-blog focusing on en français-only songs, precisely Girls. Singing In French. Making Me Sigh. Any questions? - : Filles Sourires. Not bad, worthy a visit, a new chance to listen one more time to La Chanson de Slogan (link via blog), performed (what a perfection!) by the Blonde Redhead.
