By listening to the two new songs Reena and Incinerate, from forthcoming Sonic Youth's album Rather Ripped (release
due to next June) it's like breathing renewed oxygen from the 9o's for
me, - even because these faster rythms are dear to the brightness of Experimental Jet Set.. than to NYC Ghost & Flowers oddities.. i mean, Steve Shelley is back! i need to see Them once more live.mp3s (via obscure sound blog):

ps. i read that Thurston and Kim will appear on the May 9 epsisode of "Gilmore Girls" to perform an acoustic version of the new SY song "What a Waste."; it's months it's not anymore broadcasted on italian tv, and sometimes, very girlie of me, i enjoyed watching some episodes, overall because i felt authorized by random live appearences of Grant Lee Buffalo, as well Mazzy Star or the Jesus & Mary Chain in scoring the soundtrack..
