One man Band, Stefano Santabarbara's one: - listening to these tracks i have the image of a gloomy grey day, - everything went wrong, a pale day finally coming to the end, - a view from a bedroom, You can hear a cat meowing through an old window, - he's pretty out-of-tune, - he cries out, complaining, - even if subduedly, You cannot but hear it, - kind of insufferable sometimes - and the rain is not exactly rain, but pure feedback (at its top on What Took You So Long), guitar electricity, cutting riffs and arpeggio saturated with noise, - and those complains are lyrics and groans together, - in a lo-fi recording formula makes of these seven titles a long sound-track suite full of pain and inmost melancholy, - a sort of hypnosis and auto-therapy, - seven tracks (whose Words and To Apologies (probably there is a reason if these two songs are in consequence) are the folk numbers) of riving pain.
