Synthpop e new-wave la fanno da padrone, nel drumming e sequencer (particolarmente accattivanti sul finale quasi aggressivo di Trigger). - I Gripweed
sembrano esser ligi ad una linea melodica sentimentale, soft
elettronica da dancefloor, soft per quanto comunque sporcata di lato da
riff di chitarra, corpose linee di basso e beat sincopato. La voce di
Cristian Rosa resta pulita, senza virtuosismi, magari qualche effetto
in più le gioverebbe nel fornire fisicità. Happy End -
l'ultima traccia - meglio racchiude l'incontro delle sfaccettature più
tradizionali del genere con lo spirito dark - c'è anche una discreta
ricerca compositiva. - Credo che una produzione meno lo-fi potrebbe
dare risultati più coraggiosi, visto che oltre confine, tra Austria e
Germania, tra future-pop e synth-electronica ci sono eserciti ben più

Gripweed, from south italy, look like abiding with a sensitive melodic line, dance-floor soft electronica, soft altough dirty in guitars, energic bass lines and syncopated beats. Cristian Rosa's vocals stay clean, no need virtuosity, - even if some special fx would enrich in being more phisychal.
