Tanja Frinta is a happy random internet found.. from Vienna, currently living in Sweden, She is an amazing inspired creature, able to create some lovely bittersweet twee-pop, to tell the story of Karen, an imaginery girl born in anitalian circus.. - Reading Her bio, i can't believe She used to play in a punk/hc band.. anyway.. be ready for a cascade of delicate guitar riffs, squeeze-box, keyboard as rythm section, and a beautiful voice with a particular melancholic accent (sometimes She reminds me of Devics), - a special mixture of poetry (in Music as well in lyrics, - all by Tanja), blended with finesse and charm. This brief ep features opus as Some Summer Days as well Beautiful Schock, - absolutely two songs in heavy rotation in my playlist.. - On next april a new full lenght is due to be released, - in the meanwhile, enjoy (and download) some previews at Her myspace page: No True Woman, Carousel Horses and Grass is Singing (mexican romance!) are a further step into a fellinian or Nino Rota cinematic fancy. - Get the ep for 7€ at Fettkakao rec.

Tanja Frinta è stata un fortunato incontro casuale su internet.. da Vienna, ora vive in Svezia, - Lei è una sorprendete creatura ispirata, capace di creare dell'amabile agrodolce twee-pop, a raccontare la storia di Karen, un'immaginaria ragazza nata in un circo italiano.. - Leggendo la di Lei bio, non posso credere che davvero un tempo suonasse in un gruppo punk-hc.. cmq, state pronti per una cascata di delicati riff di chitarra, fisarmonica, tastiera usata come sezione ritmica, e una bella voce con un particolare accento malinconico (a volte mi ha ricordato i Devics), una speciale mistura di poesia (nella Musica come nei testi, - tutto by Tanja), amalgamata con finezza e charm. Il breve ep ha gioielli quali Some Summer Days e Beautiful Schock, - assolutamente due pezzi in continuo play nelle mie cuffie.. Il prossimo aprile esce un lp, - nel frattempo godeteVi delle preview (download gratuito) su myspace: No True Woman, Carousel Horses e Grass is Singing (mexican romance!) sono un successivo passo nella fantasia felliniana o di Nino Rota. - l'ep costa 9€ s.p.i., acquistabile direttamente dall'etichetta Fettkakao (praticamente una fetta con la nutella richiesta da giorgio bracardi.., ndk)
