Dope Aviators, originally from Prague, then moved somewhere in Finland, know how to go from fragile psychedelic pop tunes feat. gentle boy/girl vocals to more mellow/spacey soundscapes, till composing a totally unexpected addictive electronic / dancefloor hit as Heaven Or Hell; - more, if You add that all the sound matter has been mastered by Robert Poss, ex Band of Susans, - You can already smell the sense of quality of this Music and its naive freshness. Somewhere between coordinates of Spacemen 3, Air, Au Revoir Simone, - that means an esquisit taste for programmed sounds, analogue synths, calmed-down rythm section, guitars, liquid bass-lines, to weave an appealing trippiness, where Emko's whispered vocals and Kasko's ones well cradle melodies through bliss and calm (Mother 5, Delikatessen). Fifteen tracks, dreamy, groovy (How is This Sound?), shimmering lullabies (Pribory), marriage of pop and harmony, - evocative (The Warps of Filth) a whole intriguing album to music some of Your cold autum nights.

Dope Aviators - Product (15tx, 48'42'' - 11 Fingers rec 'o7) - I Dope Aviators, da Praga ma trapiantati da anni da qualche parte in Finlandia, sanno come passare da fragili melodie pop psichedeliche impreziosite da gentili scambi vocali boy/girl a più melliflue/spaziali fughe sonore, sino a comporre poi una più insospettabile traccia di alienante elettronica, dancefloor hit a nome Heaven Or Hell; - in più, se aggiungete che dietro la masterizzazione della materia sonora c'è l'ex Band of Susans Robert Poss, allora potete già avvertire quel senso di qualità che è propria di questa Musica, in tutta la sua freschezza naive. Da qualche parte tra le coordinate di Air, Au Revoir Simone, - il che significa un gusto squisito per suoni programmati, synth analogici, sezione ritmica sotto calmanti, chitarre, linee di basso liquide, a tessere un accattivante trip, dove il cantato sussurrato di Emko e quello di Kasko ben cullano le canzoni tra beatitudine e calma (Mother 5, Delikatessen). Quindici tracce, sognanti, groovy (How is This Sound?), ma anche lullabies tremule (Pribory), matrimonio di pop e armonia, - evocative (The Warps of Filth), - un intero album intrigante perfetto per musica qualcuna delle Vostre fredde notti d'autunno.
