komakino. questo disco è il manifesto di Qualcosa? o solo lo sfogo di Qualcosa.. cmq si fa manifesto..
// can we consider this album as a Manifesto for anything?
- Edible Woman: Non è un manifesto, non ha uno sviluppo tematico unitario. Ogni canzone ha una piccola storia a sè. Non che tutte siano, a livello testuale, così indipendenti l'una dall'altra, così capaci di brillare di luce propria. Però è veramente difficile, nonchè forzato cercare un "fil rouge" tra tutte le liriche. Tra l'altro siamo in due a scrivere testi, dunque due approcci differenti.
// It is not a manifesto and it hasn't got a uniform thematic development. Every song has its own little story. That's not to say that every track is completely independent one from another, but it's really difficult and far-fetched to look for a "fil rouge" across all the lyrics. Moreover two of us write lyrics, so we have two different approaches.

komakino. la vostra musica pensate risponda alle lyrics?
// Do You think Yr Music well matches with lyrics?
- E.W.: Affatto. La musica è sempre indipendente dalle liriche e viceversa, cioè il contenuto di un testo non si ispira alle caratteristiche musicali di un pezzo.
// Not at all. Music is always independebt from lyrics and vice versa: the content of a text is never inspired by the musical features of the track.

komakino. cosa ascoltate? Gruppi?
// What kind of Music, Bands do You listen to?
- E.W.: Ascoltiamo da mesi i dischi scritti negli anni '70 da Neil Young, poi i Roxy Music, i Lambchop, tanto death e grind metal. E anche l'unico disco solista di Crosby. Almeno alcuni di noi.
// We are listening to '70s Neil Young recordings and to Roxy Music, Lambchop, a lot of death and grind metal, and the only solo album written by Bill Crosby.

komakino. come, e se, vi vedete fra dieci anni?
// How do You see all of You in 10 years?
- E.W.: Molto probabilmente lontano l'uno dall'altro.
// Quite probably far one from each other.

komakino. nella vita di ogni giorno, quale ruolo fondamentale avete nella società?
// In Your daily life, what foundamental role do You play in society?
- E.W.: Siamo amabili conversatori.
// We are good talkers.

komakino. chi volete buttare fuori dal vostro gruppo? e perchè?
// Who of You do You want to kick off the Band? And why?
- E.W.: Vorremmo mandare via Giacomo, il chitarrista. Ma vorremmo ammetterne tanti altri.
// Giacomo, the guitar player, but we'd like to involve many others.
