The Horny
Experimental Movement sforna il primo album ufficiale,
edito per una neonata nostrana label, l'Ebta.
I quattro si prendono nuovamente a spintoni tra referenze e scariche
grunge (memorie Bleach-iane?), lontano il metal
nei momenti + validi (la bella corsa di Mr. Clive), qualche
psichedelia nei momenti + riposati, e fughe di batteria su ritmi quasi
swing in alcuni episodi addirittura dementi (Monk/Eyes
& Pilgrim). Eclettismo? O cavoli a merenda. - A parte ciò
ogni pezzo contiene cmq un giro azzeccato, un ritornello o un inizio
giusto (Dogs), messo tra parentesi, introdotto o chiuso da
degli ambienti volutamente differenti (la fine di Strip Cartoon
Story, l'intro di Radio Stretch My Voice on Your Speaker,
- pezzo già sentito insieme ad altri tre sul precedente demo
s/t).

The Horny
Experimental Movement comes out with the first official
release, produced by a local new born label, Ebta
rec. These four kids are pushing and still deciding on references
and shots of grunge (memories Bleach-ish?), away
from their metal background during most valid moments (beautiful run
on Mr. Clive), some psychedelia on slow episodes of rest,
- and some drums fugue, where they touch swing music rythms,
for unknown reasons, maybe They're eclectical, or just confused (Monk/Eyes
& Pilgrim). Anyway, each track contains a good riff, a perfect
chorus or a good intro (Dogs), put between parenthesis, introduced
or closed by some ambients somewhat different from everything You
were listening to (the end of Strip Cartoon Story, the intro
for Radio Stretch My Voice on Your Speaker, - good song already
featured on former demo cdr, together with other three songs).
