Concerto dei Cranes lo scorso 28 maggio a Roma, al black out. Meno gente rispetto la scorsa data, - forse sarà stato per il biglietto a (cristo!) 15 (CRISTO!) euro? - Faccio parentesi che lo stesso cd nuovo, Particles & Waves è costato altri 15 euro, e se poco male volevi anche una tshirt, altri 15 euro.. eccheccazzzz.. ma siamo impazziti? E con l'entrata nemmeno incluso un drink.. Vabbene che Vi darei anche il sangue, quale Cranes_dipendente.. però.. Cmq al concerto ho DOVUTO quindi andarci x avere la mia dose; il cd mi è stato regalato a sorpresa da Gentil Fanciulla (thanks); la tshirt, - pazienza, mi tengo quella dello scorso anno. Ci è scappato però il poster gratis. - Alison e Jim Shaw aka Cranes hanno riconfermato la line-up dal vivo dell'anno passato, aprono con gran plauso del pubblico su Everywhere e chiudono con il secondo bis a grande richiesta su E.G. Shining, Adoration, Paris And Rome, - passando per i classici cavalli di battaglia Jewel, Shining Road, Adrift, Lilies, Cloudless. Poi anche pezzi dal passato album Future Songs, come Flute Song, Sunrise. Naturalmente presentano anche le nuove creature: Vanishing Point, Far from the City, Here Comes The Snow, Avenue A, Particles & Waves dall'omonimo, e dal vivo suonano veramente bene. I sorrisi di appagamento fra di Loro si sprecano, - è bello vederli così affiatati ed emozionati, con Alison al centro sempre splendente, dolce, delicata e diafana: gli altri ne traggono ossigeno, godono della Sua Luccicanza, e si guardano soddisfatti l'un l'altro. Peccato Lei non metta + mano dal vivo a basso o chitarra, - sebbene tocca una fender x 15 secondi netti sulla fine di Lilies e non si sa bene perchè. - Un tizio dietro di me, ad un altro che continuava a parlare, ad un certo punto gli ha urlato MA TE STAI ZITTO E ME FAI SENTI' ER CONCERTO?! - Il pubblico afeçionados capitolino ama i Cranes. - Il nuovo album è sulla scia di Future Songs: amabile, tenero, gradevole, piacevole, sognante, amico, libero, ballabile - ma senza toccare l'Alta Ispirazione che dava Infinita Grazia sino ai tempi di Loved, quella Genialità Malinconica che Ti strappa una lacrima quando Li senti con le cuffie.. e io continuo con gli ascolti di queste nuove canzoni, e aspetto che esplodano da un momento all'altro di quella Ispirazione di cui i Cranes sono Eroi.. però non arriva mai al culmine.. Forse ci si avvicina solo con Light Song, o la seconda parte di Vanishing Point, o il ritmato di Far from the City.. Vi voglio Bene cari Cranes, ma voglio di più!!! - Intanto rimetto a play il CD, e torno a pensare a come mi sono sentito bene risentendo dal vivo l'onda di Catartica Infelicità di Adoration.

Cranes performed live in Rome past friday. Less people than past years shows, what a pity for lost souls of downhere! Maybe it's been because it cost touch mouch, entries at 15 euros, cd at 15 euros, and tshirts too.. shit! are we crazy? - I am anyway, - i'm too much in Loved with Them, - so, no tshirt this time, and my sweet Girlfriend bought me a copy of the new album, Particles & Waves. - Alison and Jim Shaw aka The Cranes confirmed live line-up of past year, and opened the show with Everywhere, and closed with second encore, featuring E.G. Shining, Adoration, Paris And Rome, passing through wonderful well-known Jewel, Shining Road, Adrift, Lilies, Cloudless. Then tracks from past album Future Songs, like Flute Song, Sunrise. - And of course, newest songs, Vanishing Point, Far from the City, Here Comes The Snow, Avenue A, Particles & Waves, - really nice to hear for the first time live. Five The Cranes are one more time nice gentle People, happy to play live, smiling each one, with sweet Alison singing inspired and shy, brigther and delicate. Jim and Friends are there, happy to go higher in that multicoloured sky of sounds and poetry. It's a pity Alison doesn't play anymore bass or guitar during the exibithion, - if not for brief 15 seconds on the end of Lilies, for unknow reasons. There was a guy after me, that yelled to another one who was always chatting SHUT UP!! LET ME HEAR THE CONCERT!! People from Rome really love the Cranes.. And after the show i felt better inside. - I've been listening to the new album in last days: loveble, tender, nice, dreamy, friendly, free, danceable, - but It never really touches that Higher Inspiration that gave Endless Grace until ages of Loved, - that sort of Melancholic Genius which Teared Your Heart Apart when You listen those songs with headphones.. and i keep on listening to these new songs, waiting They explode with that Inspiration that The Cranes are Heroes for.. but it never touches the Top.. Maybe it may do it only with Light Song, or the second part of Vanishing Point, or Far from the City.. I Love You dear Cranes, BUT i NEED more. - In the meanwhile, let me hear once more this album: my memories are once more again on Your live performance of Adoration..
