Julia Kent was born in Vancouver, Canada, and studied cello at Indiana University, Bloomington. She is a member of cult band Antony and the Johnsons,.She has performed and/or recorded with many artists and ensembles, including Antony and the Johnsons, Burnt Sugar, the Angels of Light, Larsen, Backworld, Jarboe, Devendra Banhart, Angela McCluskey, Leona Naess, Teddy Thompson, Rufus Wainwright, and (sometime around the Pleistocene era) Rasputina. She just released Delay, her solo debut. It's an all-instrumental affair, mixing beautiful melodies with found sound, to a varied effect. While her compositions are undoubtedly wonderful, the brief field recordings between the songs are both superfluous and distracting. She's a talent, and it's interesting to hear her by herself. Pay no mind to those little brief distractions;program them out or give them no thought, and focus on the beauty within. The album has been published by Important Records and Shayo Records

Barbara De Dominicis has just finished working on her new solo project ANTI, GONE produced with the help of an artist grant. A sort of hidden concept album with a reference to the greek heroin Antigone. Blending a wide range of styles and influences, striking a balance between acoustic and electronic sonority...where synthetic sounds are mostly "organic morphologies".. . She is a singer, lyricist, sound manipulator and performer of "sound poetry projects", a series of experiments based on the couple orality/vocality, that tend towards a theatrical concept. In 2004 she meets percussionist Pasquale Bardaro and together they invent Cabaret NoirTheir debut album is published by Schema Records in Europe and Rambling records in Japan, Bonsai in France In 2007 she starts a series of extemporary performances that go under the name of Poe-Si. POE-SI is a series of unpredictable performances that only happen in the making. It can be explained as a collection of experiments based on the interaction amongst the couple orality-vocality and the different elements on stage as like as an electronic station, a piano and a visual element . The act itself is an extemporary music-imagines creation that tend towards a performative concept. This kind of music-poems- act only happens once and it does happen in public.
